Mash the dj/producer/label owner/XFM radio broadcaster aka Martyn Henderson has been djing for 16 years and has released various tracks on labels like Blue Black, Glasgow Underground and his own Tracktion and Distracktion labels. Mash's latest track for Glasgow Underground, 'Somebodys Property' is creating a wee buzz catching the interest of djs like Freaks, Freeform Five, Paul Woolford, Rob Mello, Mylo, Leo Elstob, Stuart Patterson, Damian Lazarus and Mish Mashs Oscar Fullone. It has also had airplay on XFM, Radio 1 and StuBru in Belgium as well. It was number one in the Official Belgian Dance Charts for two weeks, It will be appearing on the forthcoming Switch 9 compilation album and has been licensed to Belgian label NEWS. His remix of the Kid Loco produced Astronauts by Quinn is currently available on iTunes. He has also just finished a remix of ultra cool New York electro star, My Robot Friend, and also Glasgow/Russian electro pop outfit Salon Boris for release on U Discs very soon, and a remix for Salacious Records of Slick Momma, and is about to start on his remix of Data Paniks 'Minimum Wage'. In the past Mash has remixed Snow Patrol, Blondie, Milton Jackson, David Duriez, George T, Markus Enochson and Mangomad. Mash was one half of the now defunct DJ/Production duo The Jengaheads.
